HTS staff are trained in the relevant aspects of their duties.
Health and Safety toolbox talks, discussions on the potential hazards of work equipment and materials, and an explanation of how these hazards can be found within standard procedures. In addition, we undertake a demonstration of the personal protective equipment to be used.
HTS equipment is color- coded, and employees have been trained accordingly. Electrical equipment is made familiar to staff with explanations of essential safety awareness and maintenance.
Specific Site Training - This will include all aspects of any site. It will be new techniques, machines, standards, etc. We recognize that every site is different and requires areas of specific attention.
On-Site Training - This occurs in all HTS contracts. A roaming trainer is assigned to train all employees at the site and conduct training evaluations to ensure they are safely performing the work. This is a system where work is checked once it is carried out to ensure all aspects of the scope of work specification are undertaken. It also helps us distinguish the staff members who are prepared to take pride their work.
Induction Training - All new employees will undergo induction training before being assigned to work at the sites.

All personnel are certified by the International Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA), ensuring they have met rigorous safety and skill standards. Additionally, their assessments undergo thorough verification by IRATA International, which upholds the highest industry benchmarks for training and performance
IRATA is an acronym for the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association, which was formed in the UK in the late 1980s to solve maintenance challenges. Its formation was the result of an initiative of a number of leading companies, who had begun to use industrial rope access techniques, to provide a safe working environment for the industry.
IRATA International’s rope access system is a highly effective and safety-focused method for performing work at elevated heights. This technique employs specialized ropes and a variety of associated equipment, enabling workers to securely reach their designated work positions and maintain stability while performing tasks. The system ensures that personnel are not only safely accessed but also expertly supported throughout their operations, significantly reducing the risk of accidents in precarious environments.
The advantage of using rope access methods mainly lies in the safety and speed with which workers can get to or from difficult locations in order to carry out their work, often with minimal impact on other operations, surrounding areas and the environment. Another major benefit is the reduction of the combination of the total man-hours and perceived level of risk for a particular task (man-at-risk hours) when compared with other means of access and their associated risks and costs
